About the Role

 

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Capital Markets & Advisory Division (CMA) in Seoul as an Analyst.

The Analyst will play an integral role in supporting the origination and execution of a broad range of advisory and financing transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Structured and Acquisition Financing and other strategic advisory mandates.

As an analyst in Korea CMA team, you will participate in the “full cycle” of transactional execution, with the work scope including but not limited to preparing pitch materials, conducting research, and drafting various client presentations in live transactions, and making internal memoranda for seniors and committee.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and global deal teams, providing exposure to high-profile transactions across multiple industries in Korea and other countries.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct financial and strategic analyses in support of transaction execution and client advisory work
  • Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and company/industry profiles
  • Prepare client presentation materials, pitch books, and transaction documents
  • Assist in due diligence, coordination with external advisors, and transaction execution
  • Run ad-hoc, daily and weekly analysis and research on economies, global and Korea IB markets, industries, companies, and products
  • Support senior bankers in business development and client coverage initiatives
  • Any other support for CMA and overall strategies

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable university (Finance, Economics, Business, or related major preferred)
  • 0–2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or related fields
  • Solid understanding of banking industry with strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment under high pressure
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence
