• Kakao Entertainment: Growth investment in the formation and aggregation of Korea’s largest entertainment company with businesses encompassing music creation and streaming, video-on-demand, web-comics, drama/movie production and talent management
• Sunsea Parking: Growth investment into China’s leading parking management services provider

Anchor Equity Partners is currently looking for Research Analyst(s) to join the team in its Korea office.

Research Analyst Program Description and Primary Responsibilities

Program expected to last approximately 6 months (extension after 3 months approved on a case-by-case basis by Anchor). The Research Analyst(s) will have a unique opportunity to work with highly seasoned and successful investment professionals in the Asian private equity industry and will support the team by:

• Gathering and synthesizing financial and operational data on target industries and companies
• Drafting company profiles to support the evaluation of new investment opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong passion for corporate investing and desire to learn operational value-add
• History of outstanding academic achievement
• Prior internship experience in private equity investing, general investment banking or consulting background is preferred but not required
• Fluency in both Korean and English is a must, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
