SV Investment (“SV”) is an investment firm headquartered in Seoul, Korea, focusing on private equity and venture capital opportunities across Korea, the United States, China, and Southeast Asia, with approximately USD 1.5 billion in assets under management. SV’s private equity team comprises investment professionals with extensive experience across private equity, hedge funds, accounting firms, investment banking, and asset management. Since its establishment in 2006, SV has completed multiple successful investments in Korea, China, and the United States, and currently operates offices in Seoul, Boston, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore.

Job Description

1.      Department: Private Equity

2.     Duration: At least 3 months starting in January

3.     Responsibilities:

−        Evaluate investment opportunities through in-depth analysis of potential target companies’ financials, operations, industry dynamics, and investment structures

−        Perform valuation analyses including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO modeling

−        Prepare investment memoranda and other materials for internal review and investment committee discussions

Qualifications

1.      Strong knowledge of finance and accounting

2.     Demonstrated maturity, confidence, and ownership of work, with strong analytical and qualitative skills

3.     Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

4.     Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, or hedge funds is preferred
